There is always a new day...

When in the moment
It seems dark, down, hard
Take a glimpse at the sunrise
Seek the warmth of a new day
Sip your coffee or drink it in
As it changes let some of the light in
Lifting our lids and seeing the newness
Its a new day, a new day, a day of new
Fresh and full, Free and graceful

Place your care, your concern, your worry away
Give it to the One who washes it away
Come to a new day with freedom and peace
Open your heart to a new day of feast

Our days may be numbered, but each one is new
We don't count the old, we only count the dew
For the dew will come again in the new day to come
And it will not last in the old day that is gone
Rejoice in the new day for each day is a gift of God
And come to the day seeing the new for its own sod
